P.K.
Costa Rica hands down.
Looking for feedback for a friend on choices she has to make for an upcoming vacation with her Hubby. She has to choose between Cozumel, Riviera Maya or Cancun
They want activities that would include: dancing, movies on the beach, water activities, swimming with dolphins and zip lining.
They also do not have children and want to go to a resort for adults only but not end up with a bunch of senior citizens as they are in their mid-late 30's and are active.
Would love to hear from anyone who has been to any place like mentioned above. Thank you in advance!
Costa Rica hands down.
Last September we stayed at Secrets Maroma in Rivieria Maya. It is an all-inclusive adults only resort. It was absolutely AMAZING!! The food was terrific, entertainment was fun but not too pushy or loud, and the beach was stunning!! I can't say enough about this place--worth looking into! Good luck
I think Cancun is a big party spot. Cozumel and Riviera Maya are both wonderful. It's been a while, but from what I remember Cozumel is a little smaller, quieter, more laid back, and Riviera Maya is bigger, louder, etc. You can do the activities you mentioned in pretty much any of these areas. They might want to look up an adults-only resort.
We honeymooned in Riviera Maya and LOVED it! Cozumel was nice, we went there briefly, it's pretty upscale with lots of jewelry stores! Although it might be a better place for dancing, clubs, etc. Any of those places will have things like zip lining, dolphins, etc. Cancun will be more geared towards young singles since it's a big spring break destination but maybe they'd like that.
I highly recommend you call my travel agent, Angela Santoro with Home Run Tours. She does all the research, can give you a better quote than the internet and you don't pay her a fee. You can reach her at ____@____.com or
