Bless you and yours. Step by step, you are being the best Mom he can have. My prayers go out to God for you.
Update on my son, his EEG came back normal, which we had already suspected due to the type of seizures he's having. Next step is to try to get a referral from his pediatrician to a neurologist. Lucky for me I don't have to have one, so if doc won't give one, I'll hunt one down that doesn't require a referral. If that fails, I'll pay my copay to take him to the ER and go that route.
Thanks for all the support from all of you. I felt the prayers with us during the test. Please continue to pray for our son.
God Bless all of you.

I'm so sorry your going through all this! Seizures are scary and I can't imagine.. hang in there mama and hope everything works out for you and your son!
Hugs!
Thank you for the update, i have been wondering how it went, so glad the EEG was normal! Will continue to pray, God bless.
My oldest son had febrile seizures until he was 3. They came about because of a quick change of temperature in his body. He didn't have to have a high fever, they were caused by just the quick change of temperature. This is hereditary. My dad had them too as a toddler. Check your family history if you can, this may shed some light. He got on anti-seizure medicine which made him be a terrible terrible 2s kid. I thought may be that was normal terrible 2s until I took him to a different pediatric neurologist that told me that wasn't normal, it was the med. He told me that for this type of seizures, anti-seizure medicine won't help, and that if he was his kid, he would wean him off the med. I did that and he became a normal 2+ y/o and never had seizures again anyway. I'll continue praying for you and your son. Maybe this is what your son has, which won't be bad at all, and he will out grow them. Best wishes and God bless!
If you need a good neurologist, I strongly recommend Dr. Robert Chudnow...he's in Plano and the only one that my son would actually talk to/interact with. He's in a practice with others but they all primarly deal with children and teenagers.
