I am looking for some place that is unique to host a tea party for Mother's Day. Some place that would serve sandwiches, cakes, teas, coffees, etc. in a quiet and elegant setting, but not too upscale to include children.

What can I do next?

Try the Garden Tea Room at the Hometown Furniture store in Rogersville. They have excellant food and rasberry tea with rasberrys in it. I have hosted two baby showers there myself. The # is ###-###-####. I also had them order my cakes.

Good Luck,
T.

I don't think there are really any tea houses left in Springfield. Athe one that was in Galloway closed down last year. However, there are several in Ozark that still have that quint charm you are probably looking for.

Maybe try Beth's Bake Shoppe off of Republic Road. They have great "light" lunches and it's very quaint.

Best wishes. :)
