Turbo Tax

I'm almost positive if you are filing 1040 or 1040EZ you can do that for FREE from the IRS website?!?

It is most definently worth it!!!!! I have deductions and stuff and it is easy to use even with that.

Turbo Tax flipping ROCKS! I have used their basic version the past 3 years, it just doesn't get any easier than that ;) It costs a little extra to do the state files as well, but well worth it! It saves your info, so next year, it's all already in there.

Turbo Tax is great, many friends use it. I use the HR BLock online filing and pay for my fed file when it is all done. You can also check the IRS site to see if you qualify for free use of one of the tax sites to file. There is a link that takes you to several tax sites to file and you can choose one.

I use it as a platform to do my taxes but I don't use the step by step. It works for me.

I've used TurboTax for years now. I love it! I can enter things as I get them. It saves things for the million times I have to walk away and change a diaper or get a snack or it's nap time or all the other things with kids. We've had some seriously complicated taxes and it's made them super easy. All you do it enter the info and it does the rest. It saves a file on your computer from year to year that you can go back and reference if you need to and it also saves a lot of time following years as it just carries over the information for you that you need from the previous year.
We buy ours from Costco when they offer the coupon so it doesn't cost very much. It is worth it's weight in gold!

It's so easy! Love turbo tax! It's only like $40 to file and they got us back over $4000 this year even though we no longer qualify for eic. :)

I've always used H&R Block At Home (their online version). It's always been free for the federal file (don't have state returns here). They walk you through each section to make sure you don't miss any deductions.

We've used Turbo Tax and some other program (Tax Cut??). They're great!

LOVE Turbo Tax. It's great, for even complicated taxes. It sounds like you can use the free federal edition. I definitely recommend, and save yourself some money :)

I just want to let you know that Turbo Tax online is free for a simple return.

We have used Turbo Tax for 15 of 16 years. We used one other program once and it wasn't as "easy" as Turbo Tax.

Turbo tax walks you through everything. Since yours are so easy - you might be able to have them done within an hour of downloading the software.

I did ours last week with Turbotax. As long as you have everything you will need for it SS#, w2, retirement stuff, interest earned on your bank accts if that applies to you. It took me maybe 30 mins of type time. I had to figure out the miles for the first 6months of the year and last 6 months of the year for doctors appointments and how much on perscriptions and out of pocket bills for medical items. Which took a little bit of time but I am organized so it wasn't to bad.
If you have a simple return also try H&R block I know they had a deal going for simple returns or if you have a united way org around you they usually do a free or discounted simple return prep for you. Hope this helps!

i've used turbo tax every year for the past five years or so and love it. it cost me about sixty altogether for state and federal which is a little cheaper. if you can copy numbers from your w-2 into your computer then you can do it. they explain what the forms are, why you might have them, and you can always logout and pickup where you left off later. every year they make it faster and easier.

We have used it for 4 years - we just did our last night. SUPER easy!

We have used Turbotax for the past 3 years. It has been so worth it. If you have a 1040ez it is free. We use the basic 1040 and it cost us $39.99. We used to go to HR Block and we had to pay alot more money and wait alot longer to get our money back. With Turbotax it was easy to fill out the info, put in our checking account info and less than a week later our money was in our account. It will take longer to get your money the closer to April you get though.

I always do my own taxes (if you only have the things you said a form 1040 EZ is what you want and it is easy- forms can be picked up at the library or you can do it right online with the IRS). Since things have become a bit more complicated I have begun using turbo tax and it is SIMPLE. Just get your return from last year for relevant info and your husband's tax info from employer and you are good to go. Do it- it is cheaper and will save you money in the long term!
