You can also post it on www.craigslist.com. I turned over a lot of 'bigger' items before moving overseas. Love this site and wish it would catch on over here in England. It's just like E-bay, but local.

I thought I heard once that a car seat that's 5 years old or older should not be used any more - something to do with the plastic. I would donate it and let the organization decide if it's good enough to pass on.

I would look and make sure the model hasn't been recalled for any reason and as long as it was never in an accident, donate it to GW, an organization's rummage sell, or have a little sell of your own with all your old baby stuff. The consignment stores only give 1/2 of what they expect to be able to sell it for, so you'll make alot more selling things yourself.

M.,
There is a website called Freecycle.org....you can list what you have and see if anyone needs it - they just take it for free...basically a free trading website. You never know if there is a needy mom who would need some of the items you have. I tried taking my baby stuff to Goodwill and was told due to regulations they cannot acccept baby stuff. Good Luck!
