For 100% certainty to end up with the gender you want, do IVF with PGD. A boatload of money just to select the gender, but if that's what makes you happy, so be it.

My suggestion is be happy and blessed with the sex of your next child that God gives you. And not try any methods. You would be just as happy with two girls.

I don't know about the method you're asking about but we used the Chinese calenar. Go to www.chinagold.com to get the idea. There was a three month window that suggested if we conceived during that time it would be a boy. We did and it was! We tested it out enter people we knew and only 1 out of like 15 was wrong! There's always a 50/50 chance but it's worth it.

Check out FertilityFriend.com I recall them say something about the chances are higher to conceive a boy when insemination is as close to ovulation as possible, and for girls, it can be within 3 days of actual ovulation. I've found the site to be a great free resource and way to chart my temperatures and help me to know when I am ovulating as well as learn a lot of little insights.

14 days after your period starts.... boy for me three times in a row!

On ovulation day... worked for us. We have two girls and I am due next month with a boy. We were going to try that the last time, but we weren't careful and got preggers the first month (before we waited). This time we were sure to use protection until the day I ovulated and we're having a boy... I know others who have had success with this also and my midwife also said it is usually successful. I have a really regular cycle and I cramp when I ovulate, so I didn't have to use monitors. Good luck!
Oh- I've also heard about the PH thing being a factor like the earlier response... worth checking into

having sex on the day OF ovulation and the day AFTER ovulation.

(no sex 3 days or more BEFORE ovulation)

I dont' know about the method you mentioned but I have read several women saying sex on day of ovulation or right after. Well, I had to use ovulation tests to know when I ovulated. Had sex as soon as the line was pink, guess what......2 girls!

We weren't trying for either sex either but would of been ok with a boy second time around. So happy and blessed with our second girl, she is adorable!

Be Careful A. A. I have a girlfriend that tried with baby #2 for a boy. She ended up with 4 girls. They finally have a grandson, but two grandaughters before him.

I'm not sure if this really works but my nephew and his wife tried this and lo and behold, they got a boy. She stood on her head right after sex. Just try it, it can't hurt. Good luck!

I've read that boy sperms are better swimmers and girl sperms live longer, so you want to try to conceive right at ovulation. In theory, the boy sperms will reach the egg first. But if you haven't ovulated yet, the girl sperms may hang around long enough for the egg to come on down. We weren't necessarily trying for one sex or the other, but happened to try right at two-weeks post-period and ended up with a boy. Best of luck!

We tried this method and got what we wanted both times. First a boy then a girl. When I told my husband I was pregnant the first time at like 6 weeks I gave him a blue sock and this time I gave him a purple sock. We are due in November with a girl and have the most awesome 2 year old boy.

Hi. We used this method for both of our children and we have one of each. I don't know if it was luck or the method really worked. My son we had sex doggy style and with the woman on top. I'm not sure which way worked. We had sex on ovulation day. So, most likely day 14 or later. Good Luck!!
