Does anyone currently use this software. I am tempted to get one, but I want some reviews, good and bad of the product from real users. What do you like or not like about it. Let me know and thanks.
We have one and yes I am still having trouble throwing some of the paperwork out. Like Jim at home dad said you will need to create a folders for where you want stuff.
I got my wife this the Christmas before last. The biggest hurdle, for her, was realizing you can 'throw away' the document after you scanned it. Which you can do. Any copy of anything you need after the fact is perfectly fine to use for whatever. Even the IRS accepts the copies generated from the Neat. It is pretty cool once you get it set up and get some of the key words loaded.
The commercial is a little misleading. It doesn't automatically sort anything you scan. You have to have a folder set up. Example, if you want a folder for all your pet stuff. You need to have the key words, dog, cat, pet, treatment, receipt etc, you get the picture. THEN the Neat will send the doc into that folder. Good Luck.
oooh I can't wait to read the responses!! We want this too....but as the adage goes - if it's sounds too good to be true - it usually is!! That's why we haven't spent the $300 on it yet!!!
