Earlier I had posted the question if others have suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)? The women who responded suggested I be more specific and I agree. In a nutshell, I was in a bad car accident which basically broke the left side of my body plus also a major blow to my head leaving a blood clot in my brain. I was operated on and the blood clot was removed but I am still dealing with the effects of the TBI. Has anyone out the been through something like this?
I ran the left side of my head in to a metal pipe 10 years ago. Caused eye damage when my brain swelled, went through 6 months of eye therapy to get my 3d sight back, It made me semi paralyzed on my left side. Damaged the part of my brain that controls emotions, so now suffer from depression. Have migraines now. Lost short term memory but that is improving. Plus the usual thing get dizzy easily and nausea.
Well, I don't know what you mean by a severe head injury, but I've had 2 concussions and I have post concussion syndrome......which isn't fun when you also have fibormyalgia too.

I would suggest that you contact the Brain Injury Association. They often have local support groups and they have an annual state conference.

I suffered a brain stem contusion when I was 12 and my right side was paralyzed and I had to learn to do everything over again.
You will have to be more specific. I had a brain abscess at age two, resulting in paralysis. I had to go through physical therapy and have issues with the strength and coordination on my left side. I also had two brain fractures... but no reoccurring issues from either.
