Hi mamas!

My two year old can't seem to get enough of Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2. She LOVES these movies. We are thinking of taking her to see Toy Story 3 but have heard that although it is rated G, there are a couple of scenes that may be a little scary for a two year old. If you've already seen the movie, will you please let me know your thoughts?

Thank you!

We took our 2, 3, and 5 year old grandsons to see the movie this weekend.
The 3 year old sat on the edge of his seat the entire time we were in the theater and the 5 year old sat curled up at the back of his seat--neither moving from their seats once. The 2 year old yelled out "Wooie" when Toy Story actually started and laughed out loud throughout the movie, also sitting quietly through it all. They loved it all, previews and actual movie!

I took my 2 yr old son to see it the day it came out. The 'scray' parts are beyond their understanding. and I wouldn't even call them scary really. But the movie is super cute and funny, just like the rest. I also got a bit teary-eyed at the end. Go ahead and take her. She'll love it. My son talks about it all the time! Enjoy!

My 4.5 Grandboy had to cover his eyes during one scene, but so far, no nightmares. His mom and dad loved it.

I just read a review in Newsweek that says it's "darker" and more adult in its themes than the first two. If your child is given to nightmares, judge accordingly.

We took our 2 year old daughter and 4 year old son the opening weekend. Our 2 year old was glued to it and had no concerns with being scared. The only time she freaked out was when I took her brother to the bathroom.

It's a great movie. Hope you and your 2 year-old enjoy it.
