I have a 6 year old that is out of control. He has been like this for years. He has his ups and his downs. He is very stubborn and does not want to listen to anyone. I keep seeing these adds for Total transformation, which is suppose to teach you how to help your children if they have behavior problems. has anyone tried this and does it work? I have tried everything else but don't want to spend the $120 to try this if it is just a scam. Thank you!

Like another posts suggests, see a child behavior specialist. Also review the child's diet, daily schedule, and get to the root of the behavior.

Take that $120 and take her to see a specialist in Child Behaviour. There might be some deeper issues going on here. She is acting out for a reason, and no book or CD you buy can fix that. She needs to see a Specialist.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. It must be tough.

Ahahahaha my kids could bring him to his knees!!! Seriously if you just have out of control children because you just suck as a parent it will work. If you have behavior issues stemming from things like ADD, or PDD as I deal with heck no! My kids aren't bad mind you but each one needs something different and reacts differently to discipline.

Have you ever, told your Pediatrician about this????
If not, then do so.

Next: a professional overall developmental Assessment, would be the thing to have done.

Using a CD, without knowing what the root cause is in your son, would not address, HIS issues.

To me, you can use a 'band-aid' approach, or one which is by a Professional, Therapist.

Child behavior... is caused my many things. Either the individual or in conjunction with OVERALL family life and dynamics and if there are siblings or not. Or diet.

It's hard to know what you need when we don't have info on how the behavior has been handled up to this point. The problem could be with him, with the discipline methods, level of consistency, or all of the above.

When I heard the ads for this, I had the impression it was for adolescents, but I don't know that they actually said that. You may want to call and ask them.

The last ad I heard on this was offering it as a risk-free, money-back trial. Give them a call and see. I personally don't see the difference between that and a therapist - that's what this guy is.

M.,

Just started taking my son to a therapist. Her diagnosis was possible anxiety disorder rule out add. He has only seen his therapist 3 times and we already see a difference! She also reccommended Magic 123 and that is really helping. Hope that helps:)

Our daughter is 6, (7 next month) and we have been dealing with behavior issues for years. She's been going to a therapist (SuperNanny of West Michigan) for almost 3 years and it's been going well. It takes time....there is no "quick fix". Just found out she has ADHD (so does my husband). We are continuing with behavior and family therapy with no immediate plans for medication. First you have to train yourself in how to handle/deal with things, then you can help our child. We have good days, along with bad days, but now I know how to respond to her and we are teaching her how to act/react/control her emotions. I know it's a frustrating and down right exhausting thing to deal with. Get professional help and it will get better. One day at a time..........my thoughts are with you.

You should google "total transformation reviews" and see what you can find.

Our doctor said to try 1 2 3 Magic. It works for us. by the time I start to count the behavior stops. We also your a naughty bucket. I tell the kids Im going to the naughty bucket and they strighten right up. In side the bucket is chores to do. That works really well. 1 2 3 magic also says to put them in there room. It's like a time out but not. More like a cool down period. let them stay there until behavior changes. Times don't work for kids like mine. Our child has a list of disablites. One being O.D.D. defiant behavior. These work. Hope this helps.
