HI ladies! I have a 16 month old daughter that I'm pretty sure qualifies as a "spirited child"....she always needs to be entertained (but won't play with toys), happy one second/upset the next, extremely fussy eater, etc. We are expecting our 2nd baby in January and I'd love to find some type of behavioral consultant to help me sort of navigate through some of our issues before the next one is born. Does anyone have any good recommendations for someone in the area to help with something like this? TIA!

Maybe check in to Sensory Processing Disorder. My son had those behaviors at that age, was diagnosed at age 4. He received physical therapy twice weekly, which has worked wonders! We go to Excel Pediatrics in Rockwall, but Baylor "Our Children's House" also has a full evaluation program for this and all kinds of other behavioral disorders.

She is fantastic. She works with parents and children. They have playgroup therapy. Her daughter Erin works there also and is amazing.
