I also babysit and for the parents I bought a pack of cute little christmas pictures frames from Kohls for like 4 dollars for 4 of them and I'm going to print off a picture of each of the kids to put in them.

I don't think so. If you really want to do something, make a Christmas card using the little girl's handprints or footprints. Look online for cute ideas. Google "children's Christmas crafts/cards" and see what comes up. Here's a cute, but easy one:

Paint the bottom of her foot with brown paint and print on a white piece of paper.
When dry, add eyes and a red nose to make a reindeer. You can use a red poof ball for the red nose (or red glitter to make it sparkle), and wiggly eyes. It's really cute! They'll probably appreciate this more than anything you might give them!

Just keep in mind that feet are easier than hands with babies when doing any projects.

It is not necessary. I babysit, and have for years, and I always do a little something for the kids, but not the parents. I agree that a little baked treat or something might be nice, but no need to do much more than that. It is great that you thought of them though!! ~A.~

I wouldn't. When my son went to a babysitter, I bought gifts for the babysitter and she bought for my son. She didn't buy for me. It's entirely up to you, but I wouldn't think it'd be necessary. Maybe aplate of some baked cookies or something, but I wouldn't do anything extravagant.

No...a gift for the child is enough
