I worked for a national lab specializing in women's health. There are some tests/labs that don't test for enough organisms or the testing isn't the most advanced. I would push the doc for these answers.
I've been tested for std's,yeast and BV...all negative
I'm irritated, red and it's almost like a constant burning sensation...can anyone think of something it could be???

Only your Dr can diagnose you.
Maybe you're allergic to something. New laundry detergent, undies, soap, etc
I have no idea.
Try applying yogurt directly.
Yeah I know you said it's not yeast - but it's very soothing and can help normalize your skin/ph.
You could also put some in your bath water or try colloidal oatmeal.
Witch Hazel or Preparation H might help sooth the irritation too.
You haven't been camping and used leaves instead of toilet paper lately?
Some poison ivy/poison sumac in the wrong place can be horrible.
It could be soap or laundry detergent.
you might have a food/drink allergy.
You might be allergic to something else - the chemicals in your laundry detergent, the chemicals in the fabric softener. you might say no to an allergic reaction but if you are wearing something you are allergic too? It will be continual.
is there ANYTHING that relieves it?
wash with Ivory - the purest soap you can get.
wash your clothing with baking soda.
go naked to bed and allow your body to breathe.
Are you wearing your clothes too tight? Underwear too tight?
Have you been in contact with latex?
if i don't wear cotton underwear with a certain brand of panty liner i will be red and irritated. its an allergy to things, like soaps, detergents, and even the unscented stuff they add to pads thats supposed to absorb odors.
Contact dermatitis - a skin reaction from a material, detergents, soap/shampoo, an intimate product, etc.
Of if you've been particularly active lately, maybe friction. I don't mean just sex, but things like bicycling, horseback, etc. Anything that can cause repetitive motion and pressure to the area. If you shave or wax a significant amount it can increase the chance of activity-based irritation because you lose the protective aspect of hair.
How frustrating!
Could it be vaginal dryness brought on by periomenopause?
You don't state your age.
Are you keeping records of your cycle? Not just your period, but what day in your cycle the symptoms appear, change in discharge, etc.
The more detailed the more helpful it will be to your doctor, especially if you can keep record for a few months.
Have they tested your hormone levels?
Hope you find some answers :-).
You need a second opinion. There is SOMETHING wrong and you need a doctor to figure it out for you.
i would get a second opinion.
I would say you are having an allergic reaction to something. It could be touch allergy, which would mean you're having an allergic reaction to laundry detergent, shaving cream (if you shave your crotch area), or even your soap. Just because you haven't had problems using it in the past, doesn't mean your body has finally had enough now.
Bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection? Hard to know. Best to actually see your doctor. I mean, it could be something that's 'nothing', it could be a UTI gone bad, it could be a reaction to detergent. It could need antibiotics. Get yourself to a doctor if you want it *gone*!
I have no idea - honestly, I'd be at the doctor's and not leave until it was figured out, how awful to live with this.
I know two kids who when they drink juice, they get what you describe. Maybe also look at your recent diet.
Hope it gets figured out soon!
Often, one can develop an allergy to things that previously were ok. I suggest changing detergent to one made for sensitive skin or change brands if you are using a sensitive one. Wear cotton panties. Some people are allergic to latex. Condoms could cause this. So could products that lubricate the vagina.
Allergies and sensitivitys can develop over time.
Could it be your laundry detergent? Even if you have always used the same one, I would try a new one.
