Tivo - Rockwall,TX

Depending on what shows you watch, MANY are available on hulu or the network's site. I have stopped watching most CBS shows b/c they don't have full-length episodes online. But all other shows I watch only on hulu. We don't have bunny ears nor cable nor satellite. Just Netflix and Hulu and whatever else we can stream online. It took some getting used to, but it is so nice to just get on hulu daily and see what got put in my queue. Tonight is Parenthood. It will be available on Hulu Wednesday when i wake up. YAY!

We've had an actual TIVO and now just have DVRs. The DVRs are just as good and I never got anything from TIVO that the DVRs from our satellite company don't provide. We have one DVR but can watch anything from it on any screen in our home -including our computer in the office!

We love our Tivo. I've never used another DVR so I can't compare. If you have more than one and have a wireless network, you can copy from one Tivo to the other but it takes a long time. The main reason we use Tivo is because we were able to buy it and don't have any monthly fees.
