This is a really odd question and i have been avoiding asking it for some time now but what the heck here it goes. I have these tiny hairs on my breast and when i pull on them they come out pretty easy.alot of times these "hairs are thick and white" its almost like a pimple but not. i have a heck of a time trying to describe this but thats the best i can doi have had them for about 5 years now (noticed them right after i got pregnant with my first daughter) does anyone else have these or know what the heck they are???? UPDATE: I looked up Montgomery Tubercles and thats nothing like what i have. these hairs and bumps are more on the underside but are all over

What can I do next?

Thick & white like pimples. You can pull them out... Possibly some ingrown hairs. By why we get them, I have no idea except that it is not uncommon.

Sounds like Montgomery's tubercles. They are pretty common during/after pregnancy.

Yes, I have them too. No, I don't know what they are. :-) Sorry I can't be of more help. If you do find out, leave an update, so I can know.

I'm assuming that it may have something to do with hormone levels -- you know, if your hormones get really out of whack, you can get facial hair and stuff, and I wonder if this is evidence of higher-than-normal levels of some other hormone. But I have no clue -- it's just my wild guess. :-)

I noticed that someone else mentioned birth control pills -- I've never taken any, so that can't be the reason for mine. Although perhaps it is somehow hormonal.

I have the same thing and have had them for as long as I can remember. I don't know about it being hormonal considering I got them before I was ever on birth control and I am currently in my 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy. I have a dr's appt Fir (Sept 18th). If I can think of it I will ask my dr if she has any idea what could be the cause and how to maybe make them go away.

I have these too as well and I have stretchmarks on my stomach from both of my births and I get those hairs inside the stretchmarks. yeah they are easy to pull out but I have never thought to ask what they are maybe they have to do with hormone change after pregnancy?or maybe if you are on any type of birth control it could be that? I know mine increased with birth control.I think its where the hair follicle maybe not exactly the way it should be so the hairs don't grow properly or get the right pigment to make them a normal color? I really don't know but when you find out let me know.

I have no answers, but I did want to let you know that you are not alone. I have the same thing. It is very odd, but I have never had any problems from them. I must say that I am interested to see if you get a good answer as to what they are.
