My daughter just turned 2 in March but in the last 3 weeks she keeps taking off her diaper and and going potty EVERYWHERE! She loves to undress when she goes to bed and when I get her in the morning her bed is soaked and smelly. I have to wash all her bedding everyday. And then yesterday she pulled her pants off and pooed on the steps and then ran upstairs and pooed on her brothers bed. If I turn my back shes got her diaper off. Thank god for the Little Green machine! So my question is...Is it time to start potty training? She seems so young to start now but I'm not sure what else to do. Neither of my other children did this. Any advice moms??? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi C.! If she is not ready for potty training then I have a solution while you are at home. You can take a pair of the footed zip up pjs and cut the feet off and you could even cut off some of the arms for the summer and you just put it on her backwards and zip it up. This way she cannot get it off and take off her diaper!

it's never to early to start potty training, just don't push, buy her a chair and show her what to do and keep it where she can get to it, it doesn't have to be in the bathroom, my son learned to potty just the way your daughter is acting now and he wasn't even two yet. good luck.

2 Years old is the perfect time.... My son was potty trained by 2.... She's probly taking her diaper off because she's old enough now that she doesn't like the feeling of a soiled diaper on.... Give it a shot.... Make a huge production out of it.. We did with our son.... He loved it. :) good Luck!

My son is 22 months old and he has watched his older brother go potty and shown a lot of interest. We started potty training about a month ago. I have a friend who had both of her kids potty trained by 18 months. 2 isn't too young. Good luck!

my daughter potty trained at two. I was trying to get her three year old brother to use the potty chair and she just started using it on her own.
I would be concerned about a child who poos on another child's bed. I could be about something other than pottying.
