I'm wondering if it could be acid reflux.

My son started throwing up like that and I thought he had the flu. But, it went on for a week with no other symptoms and I took him to the doctor. It was reflux.

The doctor gave my son some medication, I didn't let him eat or drink anything after a certain time and elevated the head of his bed so he wasn't laying flat.

The vomitting stopped immediately.

If it continues, I'd run it past her pediatrician.

Best wishes.

We are in Fort Collins and there has been a TON of Norovirus going on around here. Yucky stuff. See if others you know have been ill. It is EXTREMELY contagious.

Is she getting to warm? I know this can make me sick when I am already feeling ill.

This happened to my friend's son a few years back. He would only throw up in the middle of the night. The pediatrician determined it was caused by post nasal drip. They prescribed something to dry him up and it stopped. He will still occasionally do it if he has a bad cold, but at least it's not every night.

Could be any of the things mentioned already or check for strep throat. Just found out that it can cause vomiting but I think that would be more continual than once a night.
