Checkout the website www.meetup.com. I have found a couple of great mommies groups which include playdates. I am a member of one that is based out of Carmel Valley, but there might be one closer to you.

I also live on the base Miramar and have a 3 yr old daughter and 8 1/2 month old son, so if you want to get together sometime so the kids could hang out that would be fine.
