Even though you didn't get to tell them directly how much you appreciated their help, just remember to pay it forward and I'm sure that will be thanks enough. :-)
I took my 1 and 3 year old sons to the Tom M rec center outdoor pool today. Everything was fine until it was to leave. My 3 year old didn't want to go. (He is always sooo good) But on the sidewalk out to the car he turned and ran away from me back into the pool area. Once I got back into the area, I was sure I would find him in the zero depth entry area on the slide ...but no....after not believing that I couldn't find my child...I saw him coming up the stairs from the 3 foot pool. When I got to him he had a scratch on his shoulder close to under his arm. THANK YOU to the person who probably pulled his head above the water and back onto the stairs!! And THANK YOU to the mother holding a child on the stairs for asking me if I needed any help. I ws in such shock all that I could say was "no ...he ran away from me at the car"...I didn't get to say thanks...And that's what I think this email is all about. It opened my eyes...In today's world most people don't want to help....And had I been the one who pulled the child up out of the water..I would of thought "where is this child's mom"....I just wish I would or could of said more to these people..I would love for them to know that even though they didn't get a thank you or any awareness of there good deeds...It was noticed and appreciated...Even if it wasn't spoken to them directly. Please continue to do good in this harsh world..THANK YOU!!

It's nice to hear of a situation where strangers HELP each other. We get bombarded with the news putting on depressing story after depressing story and you start to wonder ... are there any GOOD people in this world? So thanks for sharing your story and giving me some hope for humanity!
E.,
I second what "M H" said, and thank you for taking the time to thank someone...even if late (we've all been there, I'm sure), for their good deed.
I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful weekend! :)
You are so sweet for trying to find that person or persons who helped your little boy! How are you doing? I'm sure your nerves are strongly shot! Hang in there and not only am I glad that there are still people in the world that you're thanking but I'm also glad they're are people in the world that still bother to say thank you!
