My family has really helped with the addition that we are putting on our home. I was wondering if anyone had any great thank you gifts that I could give them. They all have really gone above and beyond and I don't want to just give them fruit baskets. My budget is tight, since I now have big bills to go with the big house. Thanks for any ideas!

My thoughts went straight to an awesome dinner/party This is how I have always Thanked the family and they all seem to enjoy it way more then having another gift sitting around.
I make sure that it is on a day that everyone can make it and just make your best meal and enjoy the time together. Make sure there is a yummy dessert. I have also seen them do this on those decorating shows.
What about getting a personalized picture frame such as from Things Remembered or Personalizationmall.com and putting a picture of your family in the new addition in the frame?

The dinner party is a great suggestion, but if that is not possible right now, maybe write a special thank you note and include a small baked item, such as cookies or some other specialty item you can make.
