Any ideas on what to get my Mom who is throwing us a baby shower. She doesn't have a lot of money, but she has been saving for months and is doing everything she can to make sure this shower is the best. She is so excited and I want to Thank Her with a special gift. Any Ideas? Thank You

I like to thank my Mom for all the wonderful things she does for my family with a night out. This usually involves a pedicure, dinner and a movie. We have also gotten her jewelry made with the birth stones of the kids and/or grandkids, such as bracelets, pendants or necklace charms. Most of these items you can add on to if there are more grandkids.
I think she would like a letter that relates funny stories that you recall from your childhood, and from her helping wih your oldest. It would be something that she could look at again and again and smile. Who wouldn't like that?
How about a day with you? A spa day, a shopping trip with lunch included. I bet she'd love to spend some time with HER baby.....YOU! Possibly before you have the baby and your life gets mired in newborn mania!

Congratulations!! My mom and best friend threw me a shower back in June and wanted to get them something special for throwing me a shower. So I decided to get them both a beautiful necklace from a friend of mine who makes them. They both were so thrilled and everytime they wore it they would think of me and the shower :)
