As far as an artistic talent--play music. Ahhh well Grama Moses started painting when she was 72 so I still have time. So do you. DANCE.
I have been skimming over a few questions today and I have read some really great and amazing answers. Some have opened my eyes to a "different" way of thinking, some made me cry and some were just too cool! So, I just wanted to extend a big Thank You to the whole of mamapedia today, I was in a grumpy irratated mood when I got on here and now I feel a bit better!
So, for the mandatory question....and this one just came waaaaaaaaaay out of left field, what artistic talent would you want and why? Mine would be to be able to dance, not just swaying to the rythmn, but to really be able to dance to all kinds of music, have the moves ya know..I think it is because music is such a big part of my life, my mood can change in an instant with a good song, even my little boys just love music, and we dance around all crazy, but to be able to really dance would be cool...LOL
Thanks Cheryl!! I was just grumpy because it's one of those days where the hubby is off doing another odd job to help pay the bills, my toddler didnt want to nap so he kept waking up the twins, I was trying to clean the 30 galloon fish tank and then my hubby kept calling and texting and he made plans for us twice then all of a sudden now we have to go to eat with his fam at CICI's pizza tonight...for 1 I hate CICI's pizza and he knows that, 2nd this was supposed to be our day together with the boys to just hang out and have fun and 3rd, i'm tired and cranky from cleaning all day with no help and was ticked off...LOL, sorry to complain but sometimes ya just gotta vent.
aaww thank you

I want to play the violin like Barrage or Bond do.
I often feel the same way about this site! So many times, the great responses I've gotten or have read in other posts really help me to see another perspective. There are so many helpful moms with amazing answers!
As far as artistic talent...I'd love to be able to both sing and play the guitar!
Thanks ever so much. Kind people like you make my day.
I'd like to learn to play the piano, but my fingers are so short I have a hard time typing, let alone playing the piano.
BTW, if you really want to learn to dance, most community colleges teach ballroom dancing as part of their Physical Education program. That's where my wife and I learned many, many years ago.
Good luck to you and yours.
oooh how sweet!!! that is just great to hear!!! I posted something the other day about Best and Worst and LOVED the advice people had received on here!! it was GREAT to see the responses!!!
Artistic talent? I can dance - but not ballet or anything like that! Guess that's the cheerleader in me!! LOL!!
Soooo glad to hear you are no longer in a grumpy mood!! There are some mamas on here who know how to brighten a day!!!
I feel the same way! This weekend I think I have responded more then I ever have, some really great questions and some really great responses. I feel a little clueless though as to what all the nasty PM stuff is, not sure what is going on!!! Maybe I better quit while I'm ahead or I may be next lol!!! I do not agree with everyone on this forum, but some of the women on here I feel could be my sister we think soooo much alike. I think to respectfully disagree is the key here, feelings are feelings, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. There is no reason to be nasty!! My father in law used to say to me advice is freely given and seldom heeded. Very true. Take from this what you can, and dismiss what you need to. What artistic talent would I want?? I think to be able to sing, really belt one out there. Whenever I sing my husband asks me if I am feeling okay!! LOL!! Great post!! Glad we all had a chance to smile this weekend!!
I would LOVE to be able to play African Drums. And be in the middle of a gigantic drum circle full of people:) On a beach.
that would be ART IN MOTION!!
I took an African Dance class during my dancing days and I think it was the most freeing form of expression....You could literally pound every emotion out with your feet to the beat!!
I wish I was not tone DEAF so I could sing! I have been told by my ever so loving family that I sound like a cat dying a low death. They say it out of love though.
Play a musical instrument really well...
Goo luck and best wishes that your day gets better!!
