No, what does your doctor say?
Does anyone know what it means to have high Protein, AST, ALT, and Globulin levels?
No, what does your doctor say?
Google is a wonderful thing but talking over the results with your doctor and having him explain what it means is the best thing to do.
The middle 2 are liver function tests testing to see enzyme levels. The last 1 is usually done to check inflammation levels in your system. I have these tests done on a regular basis due to some medication I take.
Your doctor should be discussing these results with you to set a treatment plan.
I googled: high protein, ast, alt, and globulin levels test results
And am putting the search results page so you can read up on it. Each one is different and has it's own issues. Since you have the numbers it might be better for you to just right click then open that page in a new tab on the ones that give information.

It means that you need to have a list of questions to ask your medical provider. Why were the tests run? Was this the first time the tests were run? If they had been run before, how do these tests compare to prior results. What are the normals for these particular lab tests? There is a website that explains about some of the tests you asked about - look it over and then talk to your doctor. http://www.cpmc.org/learning/labtests.html Find out if you need more tests run or if you need some treatment. Good luck!
