Tendonitis or Carpal Tunnel

Going in for a check cause I just turned 36 and I am fall apart LOL... Anyway I have this pain in my forearm, coming off the elbow joint. Its like my muscles are stretched too tight and if I push it they will snap. It usually happens when I pick something up with significant weight at arms length. Also when I am holding or picking up my kids. It hurts here right before the elbow joint and wrist. Just wondering if that sounds more like Tendonitis or Carpal?

What can I do next?

Carpal Tunnel would be more into your hand and wrist, before I had my surgery it would radiate up into my shoulder but it was still worse in my wrist and hand, sounds like tendonitis to me.. particularly tennis elbow.. which is good for you (better than the alternative). My dad has the best results with this brace that has an air pocket, he's had his for years and years and years and that makes it super manageable.

palm side of the forearm or "top" side? could be "tennis elbow" if it's more the "top side" when your palms are down. See a good physical therapist--they will give you the appropriate exercises.

CT starts in th shoulder and works it way down. A nerve study will decide how much damage you have.

I had both hands done and I'm SOOOO glad I did. I almost dropped our son when he was first born and KNEW I had to finally have my hands done. I was SHOCKED to see that my LEFT hand was worse than my right. I just assumed that my right would have been worse because I'm right handed.

I had my left hand done when he was five months old and the right hand a year later. SUPER easy recovery. NOTHING like it use to be and I have no scars at all.

The BEST part is once it's operated on there's instant relief and you'll never have that problem again! :)

It sounds like carpal. If it gets bad before you see the doc and you need relief, take an Aleve...it works well for this condition:)

Tennis elbow. I have tennis elbow and carpal, what you described is tennis elbow. Can't remember the technical name mind you but you tore the ligament in your elbow.

From someone who is allergic to babying any part of my body it will not go away unless you baby it. :(
