Chocolate Angel in Richardson is nice, but Lady Primrose at the Crescent Hotel is EXCELLENT (quiet and victorian atmosphere). Also, the Grand Lux in the Galleria is wonderful (LOTS of food). Reservations will be needed. Have a great time.

For mother's day, I'd like to take my mother, grandmother, and daughter (4 yo) to a tea room for lunch. Does anyone have a suggestion of somewhere that is kid-friendly for my daughter, yet serves a nice tea and lunch that my grandmother and mom can enjoy? My mom and grandmother are in Rockwall and we're in Carrollton, so anywhere in between (north Dallas, Plano, Richardson).
Thank you!
Thank you all for your tips! We went to Into Her Garden Tea Room in downtown Plano and had a wonderful time. I loved how they incorporated a formal tea environment with a very kid-friendly atmosphere. My daughter had her own place setting, special hat and necklace, as well as a tea party themed card game to play. The shop that the tea room is in was a lot of fun for all of us to walk through. All four of us left feeling like we had a great time. Thanks for the help!

The Dallas Arboretum just re-did their tea room and they are open Mother's Day. I have never been but would love to go. There is info on their website about prices, etc. It's an all inclusive tix (pkg, gardens, lunch, tea) and it looked reasonable.
Lady Primrose Tea Room at the Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas. My mother, sisters, niece, and I all went there for tea to celebrate Mother's Day a few years ago. It was a truly special place, and special experience...something none of us will ever forget. Enjoy!
Into My Garden Tearoom in downtown Plano is inside Nooks & Krannies Gift Shop.
We had my daughter's 5-year-old birthday at Into My Garden Tearoom, and it was lovely. The food is good. It isn't a real upscale place, more like a country tea room, but it was perfect for children and grown-ups. You can make reservations and they'll have everything ready for you! It is inside a cute little shop too w/toys and gifts in downtown Plan.

I saw on the marquee for Antiqueland in Plano that they are offering a Mother's Day brunch in their tea room. The sign didn't give any further details, but it's a nice antique mall with a lovely tea room. They have great desserts! It's located on the east side of 75 and Plano Parkway behind Olive Garden.
My sister had a baby shower for me at Mariposa at Neiman's--it's the restaurant inside Neimans. For $15/person you get iced or hot tea (many choices), finger sandwiches and bite sized deserts. It was very nice!

I would recommend Into My Garden Tea Room in the Plano's Historic downtown. The food is very good and I loved their service. The number is ###-###-####. They have their own website for you to visit and review. Good Luck!
There is a very nice tea room in Rockwall on 30 and Horizon, I think?? I went there for a tea a few years ago, it was very nice!! We were provided lovely hats, tea and sanwiches. It is near the lake!!
