My husband and I were searching for homes this weekend and found some wonderful areas in Montegomery. I have no idea what taxes are like in that area. Does anyone currently live there or have an idea of what the approximate taxes are for the year in Montegomery?

I believe if you go to ZILLOW.COM, you should be able to look it up. Also, you can always call the local Chamber of Commerce office, in the area that you are looking at, and they should be able to direct you to the local government office which holds the public records for this information. It varies in every subdivision. Mine are around 2700 (no joke) and my dad lives the next block over and his are 3800. About six blocks from that is the house of my dreams and it's taxes are 5000. It really depends where you are looking. It's easier to compare if you ick up fliers from other houses for sale that are near it. Good luck!
All i know is tax's about 5 years ago on a big house with a with a good size property was $2000.00 because my niece use to own a home there and i live next to montgomery in aurora.I know thats not much help but according to my niece the taxes for that area isn't too bad.I hope that helps out some.
