How did you alleviate the pain of pelvic shifting and soreness during your pregnancy?

I find that exercise doesn't make it worse but leisurely walking makes me sore for days, any thoughts ?

What can I do next?

I had a lot of soreness in that area not sure if I had the disorder or not. Looks like chiropractic could really help with that.

Ditto the belly support band.

Sleep with a good pillow between your knees when on our side too.

Stretch your Piriformus (sp?) and ham string muscles....If you can still lay down comfortable on you back, cross one ankle over the opposite knee, pull knee into you chest. Repeat 3x, each side. If you cannot lay down on your back, stretch one leg out in front of you, cross ankle over knee and bend forward at your hips.

And swimming was the best exercise for me.

Birthing the baby did not relieve mine. I needed a lot of PT, but for other health reasons.

I had it - awfully painful. When you have your baby, you will feel like a new woman. In the meantime, have you tried a belly support band, that worked wonders for me, I put it tightly around my hips and it sort of held things together.
