I am seeking information about swimming classes in the Kaiserslautern area. I have a four-year old daughter who is interested in swimming. Therefore, I want to enroll her in swimming lessons before she begins to fear water. Does anyone knows of any place in the K-town area that offers swimming lessons for four-year olds in the afternoons/evenings?
Just check out your locate CYS. You should be able to sign her up for swimming lessons. I sign my 8 yr old up for activity.
I used Rebecca Treas last summer and she was GREAT! I highly recommend her. I think she will be starting again in June. Her sessions are for 2 weeks at a time. You go Mon-Friday and the times vary but they are in the evening. If that doesn't work for you, she can also give private lessons. It gets a little hectic but they learn so fast. She is so good with the children! Best of luck to you:)
None of the CYS's in the KMC offer swimming lessons. I think Debbie Gage is the only one in the area and she can be tough to get in with! She is the one who teaches at Ramstein Azur.
There is a name of a woman at the Azur pool in Ramstein village. I hear great things. I was actually going to try and get my 3.5 year old some lessons.

I know the Azur pool in Ramstein-Miesenbach has an American woman that teaches swim lessons in English to young children. When I saw her there, her class was ages 3-5. I'm not sure when her classes are though, but I'm sure the pool would have some information. :) She even had fliers posted at the pool at one point. Hope that helps!
