I have a 6th month old and both my husband and I work full time so I don't want to have to get into the pool for a Mommy and Me thing. Please help! I read that this is the best time for child to start and I do not want to miss out! Private lessons would be best. THANKS!!!

What can I do next?

The type of lessons you're looking for are the 'survival' lessons. http://www.childsurvivalswimming.com/pages/kim

Personally, I found mommy and me swim lessons to be a waste of time for actually learning how to swim, but getting my kids comfortable, read happy, in the water it was priceless. Kids love to imitate, and when they see you in the water and enjoying it, they want to do it too. GL.

Blue Dolphin swim school is the best! Private lessons, the instructors are great. I didn't start my twins til they were almost 3 years old, but within 3 months they were both swimming across the pool by themselves, and floating on their backs comfortably. And when I say swimming across the pool, it is with their face in the water, correct swimming, the flip over on their backs to rest and breathe and then flip back over and swim.
I think their website is bluedolphinswimschool.com they are technically in Broomfield, at about 144th and Huron, well worth the money and drive in my opinion.
Good luck!

Perfect solution for you is Swim Otters. Ms. Kathy is wonderful and the sessions are in Westminster and last only about 10 minutes each. Both of my boys could swim at a very young age and I feel safer with them at the pool that way. You can google Swim Otters for more info and let Ms. Kathy know that J. Laszlo referred you and she'll take great care of you and your little one!
