I was recently diagnosed w/celiac disease. Can anyone recommend:
1. a good cookbook or good gluten-free recipes?
2. other info, networks--local or virtual, etc.?
2. success in reversing/overcoming the disease?
Thanks.
Not sure where you live, but Traditional Chinese Medicine (Acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition) can be very helpful for celiac disease. I'd be happy to do a phone or email consult with you and see if I can help - if you live on the East side of LA (my office is in Glendale), I'd be happy to treat you in my office. Otherwise, I can refer you to a colleague (another L.Ac.) in your area. There are also some great websites with info on living gluten-free. (Try a Google search.) HTH! Feel free to email me offline: ____@____.com.

www.yourdinnersecret makes yummy gluten free meals. They are in Woodland Hills. It is kind of like Dream Dinners but you don't have to go assemble your meals. We have tried many things from there and they have all been very tasty!
Also www.StaceyP.myWildtree.com you can look at Wildtree products. If you want I can email you a list of the items that contain gluten so you know what NOT to order. Hunnie at Earthlink dot net

L. - My mom recently purchased a gluten free cookbook called 1001 gluten-free recipes. So far, all of the recipes she has tried, she has loved.
