Okay this will be my first year with three kids home all day for the summer. I work 3 days a week from home so I am starting to get nervous about how I am going to keep them entertained. I know some churches have free VBS and I know you moms can help me with picking out the best or giving me other ideas! Thanks for your help.
Prestonwood Baptist has a great program in Plano, also the United Methodist Church in The Colony hasa good program... hope you find something these are great and free fun opportunities for the kids! =)
Fellowship Church in Grapevine Texas has an INCREDIBLE VBS!!!! It's called Adventure Week and I can't even begin to describe it. Usually, there are 4 different weeks to choose from starting in July/August. Go to www.fellowshipchurch.com and check it out!!

Fellowship Church in Grapevine has an incredible VBS--called Adventure Week. It usually does not start until the end of July, but it is definitely worth checking out. I am not sure that it is posted on the website yet, but keep checking. It is an amazing program--your kids would love it--my daughter keeps asking when it is.

Hi M., Our Church Bear Creek Bible Church in Keller offers a free VBS. It is great we usually have around 200 chilren. I work there every summer too!! I'm not sure of the dates for this year yet.

Not sure where you're at but Alliance United Methodist Church in Fort Worth (Park Glen) has a nice VBS. They have MANY children attend that are not members of the church. I think it usually runs in July.
Crossroads Bible Church on FM407 has a great VBS. I'm not sure of the dates but it has been free in the past. I've sent my boys there 2 years. (Missed last year because we were out of town.) Their website is www.crossroadsbible.org.
Denton Bible does Sportsworld every summer for kids. I can't remember what age it starts though. I do remember it was $75 for the whole week. It's a day camp. They do VBS as well.
The City of Denton does tons of summer programs as well through their parks and rec department.
My oldest boy has gone to the one at Messiah Lutheran Church in Keller the last two years. This year, I'm going to take both boys as my youngest is now of age to go. My son's always had a blast. I've been very pleased with it.

Our church, Abundant Life in Grapevine, has a free VBS the last week of July. In addition to that, I am the Assistant Director for our Mother's Day Out.
