Pick up an Our kids magazine at HEB or Walmart and they have tons of info on Summer camps. You can try the YMCA too for summer camps. With the Ymca if you apply for financial assist it maybe cut it some what. We belong to the YMCA gym on Bandera/Braun and it's wonderful. Homecourt American also does camps. Good Luck

Hello there...

I have my 8 year old enrolled at Country Home Learning Center. They have a field trip every day...but b/c of the cost, I'll only be sending her MWF and I believe it will come out to $101 a week or somewhere in that ball park. I think it is well worth it and they open at 6:30 and pick up is at 6 or 6:30pm. Of course, I NEVER leave my kids there that long...but it's an option. I do believe they need to be there by 8am to make the field trip on time. It's set schedule, for example, every Monday is bowling, Tues is rollerskating, Wed is swimming, Thurs is Ranch day at their ranch and Fridays are a special field trip like to Indredible Pizza, etc... (That isn't their schedule THIS summer, I was just using that as an example). Their number is ###-###-#### if you'd like to check them out.

Good luck!
L.

Did you consider putting them into Vacation Bible Schools? They are free or a small fee ($15) per child. Call these churches: Northern Hills, St. Thomas Episcopal, Cornerstone, Crown of Life, CBC, ST. Paul Lutheran. This will eat some of the summer. My child loves them and I love the low cost.
