I am searching for a new shampoo and conditioner. What is your favorite SULFATE free brand? Where do you get it?

Thanks!

So What Happened?

So many great suggestions! And thanks to you ladies, I just spent a small fortune on hair products! =) I bought all the Redken suggested products - cannot WAIT to get them in the mail. I also picked up some of the Loreal to hold me over till the Redken arrives. I would like to try WEN sometime too! Thanks ladies!

Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Sulfate Free shampoo is my favorite! I've tried several, and this one smells the best, it lathers up more than the others, it leaves my hair feeling much cleaner, and it's cheaper than the others I've tried. I get it at the salon where I get my hair done, but you can probably get it anywhere Paul Mitchell is sold. I usually don't use Paul Mitchell products, but I love this one. :)

Sally's has Hair One. It runs about $11.00 and really makes a difference ONCE you get over the fact it will not SUDS while you wash your hair.

It's basically like that Wen Hair Care stuff that cost a fortune (like most infomercial things.)

I recently discovered Tea Tree Tingle shampoo/conditioner and body wash at Trader Joes. It is fabulous and has really helped my itchy dry scalp (gone) and has made my hair healthier and more curly than it used to be. The bodywash helps my winter excema a lot too. It also does not lather, but it doesn't take long to get used to.

I use several different brands...Alba, Trader Joe's, Wen, and Giovanni regularly. Also a few others I've tried (including Burt's). Variety helps my hair...

If I were rich I'd use Wen everyday, it really is a nice product.

My 2nd runner up-Giovanni. Really nice product, I always notice a difference after I use it. I get it at our local health food store, but I have noticed Wal-Mart carries it now. Target may also...usually I can get it cheaper though than they sell it for.

My hair is thick (not chemically treated) and requires a lot of moisturizing. Burt's is just not the product for me, my hair feels like straw after I use it.

HTH!

I use Burts Bees as well. It is usually $8-9 a bottle and can be purchased at many grocery stores (Wal Mart, Smith's (Kroger), Fresh Market) or you can also get it from VitaCost . com. I have liked Vitacost because they have $5 shipping on orders over $25, and I get most of my all-natural/organic lotions, hair stuff, etc from them.

Redken has a new line of products called Nature's Rescue. All the products in that line are sulfate-free, paraben- free and silicone-free. They work great for processed and color treated hair AND they smell amazing! Like the beach! the shampoo is a daily clairifying one. They also have a conditioning mask, a hair scrub treatment (which sloughs away dead cells and buildup and makes your hair oh so amazingly soft) and they also have a sea salt/fragrance spray which i absolutely love, gives you beachy waves and makes your hair smell delicious all day! Lol I work at a beauty supply store, can you tell?

sorry! you can buy it online! or if you have acsess to a local beauty supply store!

I use Loreal Everstrong. It's amazing. My hair is so much softer and stronger. It's only 6 or 7 bucks a bottle and available at all the major super markets.

I use Burts Bees.

The specific kind I use is SLS, all other sulfates, paraban, pthalate and petroleum free.

I find it at Target, Wal-Mart and Walgreens.

This is the one I use- along with the conditioner.
