I doubt you're going to find anything cheaper than $1200 for the summer. You're best bet is to go to an agent. Try a few to see who can get you a better deal. The end on Febuary-beginning of March is the prime time to find tickets. Last year my friend got a ticket for Cyprus for about $1200, & Cyprus is usually a couple of hundred more. So who knows, you might be able to find tickets for about $1000. We're planning on going next summer. I too have family there, so a year is plenty of time to save up enough for 6 tickets.
