I have found good ole fashion club soda to be the best carpet stain remover. Good luck, I can see you have lots of things to try.

How frustrating! Maybe try Oxi-clean. This has helped me many times get stains of clothing even blueberry stains out of 2 year old's shirt. The stain was still there but not that noticeable and a lot smaller than the original size. I hope this helps.

Have you heard of Zout? It's in the laundry detergent aisle at the grocery.IT took red frosting stains out of a white table cloth and also some red dye out of a silk shirt. Just follow the package instructions. I think it's next to Shout.
Good Luck

My no-fail stain-getter-outer is a plain old bar of Ivory soap and elbow grease. It gets the most difficult stains out with hot water & a scrub brush. I have gotten dried-in blood out of clothes, oil out of carpeting, even helped to get crayons off clothes that went through the dryer (with lighter fluid of all things!) Keep trying you can fix this. Sorry about your budding artist. I have one, too. We call him the mad tagger! I have sharpie all over my cpu desk. aye aye aye!

I swear by a cleaning solution called "Kids and Pets" - I purchased mine at Target for approx $5 or $6.
It works on everything.
We spilled an entire glass of red wine on our white carpet - and after using Kids and Pets - you cannot even tell where the stain was.
I have used it for other stains on our carpeting and it always works.

saturate the area with water then lay white paper towels on it and soak up as much water as you can. Repeat until you don't see color coming up anymore.

Then pour more water on the area and soak it again. Put multiple layers of paper towel on and something waterproof that is heavy (like a tupperware container filled with books) and leave it overnight.

This works. I have used it on red kool aid and it completely took out the stain. You may have to repeat if multiple nights, but use LOTS of water and it will draw the stain out.

Did you try Oxyclean? Also, I was able to get rust out of my beige carpet with lemon juice.

I remember watching a Today Show or Good Morning America episode where they had an actual chemist explaining stain removal techniques and common store-bought products, and what stuck in my head (for good!) was that Oxy-clean does not work on all different stains, but on whatever chemical is in stuff to make it red (I don't remember the details!) But even when you watch the Oxyclean commercials, they are demonstrating the "miracle" of Oxyclean on red-type stuff--grape juice, red wine, ketchup, that kind of thing. So for red strawberry syrup, it sounds like it's worth a try! (For other stains, I agree on using Kids and Pets.)

The other thing you could try doing is asking your dry cleaner. for his/her advice. Not to do it, of course, but they are experts at knowing what works for which kinds of stains.

Good luck!!!!!

Try Resolve and/or the Little Green Machine. One Christmas our 2 dogs got into several pounds of chocolate and got sick all over my mom's white carpet (they seriously left their mark in every room in the house). With a combination of Resolve and the Little Green Machine, everything came out.

Wow! You really rec'd a lot of good advice. Here's one more: melaluca has great products to remove stains, especially oily ones (which i think applies to strawberry syrup!). It is a membership buying club, but they have a lot of earth-friendly products that really work! Good luck!

I don't know if this will work on carpet, but on laundry I find that old-fashioned Fels Naptha soap works miracles-even on oil/grease stains on clothes that went through the washer & dryer once. Also, last week I used it to get maraschino cherry stain out of a mostly white onesie. (Nice man working at a restaurant gave my son some cherries he did not eat, but played with & shoved down the front of his overalls!) Anyway, Fels Naptha is a solid soap bar made by Dial. You will need a small scrub brush & water. I have found Fels Naptha at Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware and some Tony's grocery stores. It should be by the laundry soap, but occasionally I have seen it by the regular bar soap-not sure why - it is definitely not for washing your hands/body!

I have also heard that half Original Dawn mixed with half Hydrogen Peroxide works wonders. Haven't tried it myself. Zout has often worked on stains when nothing else has. But now I completely swear by the Fels Naptha.

Good luck to you!

Boiling water gets out natural fruit stains. For blueberry stains on carpet, I've just poured boiling water on a washcloth and dabbed at it. It's worked everytime.

You could try making a solution of Oxyclean and hot water. It might help. About a scoop of the powder to a half gallon or so of water to make it more concentrated. I have used it on my kitchen chairs and it made them look a bit better. We had to put a lock on the fridge so my 19 month old would not go in and take everything out. Or open the door and have a seat.

Not sure if this will help, but try Nature's Miracle. It works wonders on pet stains and we've had to use it on a wine stain once and it got it out. The stuff is awesome! You can usually get it at pet stores.

Oxiclean! I have had great success with it. You can use it in the carpet scrubber. Mix one scoop with 1 gallon warm water. The stain will not go away until the carpet dries.
You can also pour it straight on the stains too.
Good luck!
