What brand do you recommend? Sometimes I get a craving for chips and salsa and Pace just doesn't cut it anymore. Thanks!

I love Goya's Pico de Gallo. It'll be in the international foods section though, not with chips or with taco fixings.
:)
I like the Safeway brand, the Southwest blend.
Hi! I just discovered my favorite brand of salsa and chips while shopping at Meijer a couple of weeks ago. The brand is called Garden Fresh Gourmet. It says ..... America's #1 Award Winning Salsa Co. on their products. The salsa is so delicious!! And their tortilla chips are better than all the other brands I've tried. (Look for an orange bag near the delli department and the salsa is the refrigerated section of cheeses and dips nearby.)
I bought the mild but they have a lot that I plan on trying in the future. Here's all of them: gardenfreshgourmet.com
Have you considered fresh pico de gallo? For me it's salsa kicked up a notch! You can usually find it fresh at the grocery store in the produce section.
Pico de Gallo
Any brand, or ask to buy a tub of it from your local mex restaruant (cheapest & best aside from homemade). There's also tons of recipes online, it's super simple:
tomatoes
white onions (important to use white or purple ones, white's best)
jalapenos
garlic
lemon juice
lime juice
cillantro
salt & pepper
Chop, pour, sprinkle, sit for 10+ minutes, serve.
I'm also pretty fond of trader joes salsas - mango, avocado, etc.
Mrs. Renfro brand - the black bean one is awesome!
I really like the Safeway brand Southwest Salsa flavor. Yum!
I actually tried a homeade style in the cold section at walmart! Who would of known. It's in the same area next to the veggie and fruit trays.
Honestly, I love the salsa from Aldi (discount store) and the Kroger brand!
I have bought Santa Barbara brand corn & bean salsa. They have other flavors, but the corn & bean is my FAVORITE!
If you can find El Pinto their salsa is really good. We have the restaurant here where it originated from. No preservatives. We just started making our own though!
Oh I second the Mango Salsa by Newman's! Its fantastic!!
I don't know if you have one near you, but Trader Joe's makes the most AMAZING salsa ever! The peach and pineapple our my family's favorites! :)
Does your store carry Joe T. Garcia's brand? The medium flavor is so good. Otherwise I agree with others' suggestions about the fresco salsa in the refrigerated section but pump up the spice factor with hot sauce.
We like Newman's Own, but also the Harris Teeter (H.T.Trader) mild cilantro. It is great!
Ok, I've got two recommendations for you. One is based on where you're living--Texas. Do they have an HEB grocery store near you? HEB carries Julio's brand chips AND salsa and both are SO GOOD!! Run out and get some if you're near that store! If not, I've got what may seem like an unlikely suggestion, but I swear it's pretty dang good. The Kirkland brand salsa in the non-refrigerator section at Costco is great. Try it and let me know what you think!

I like the costco Chachies salsa, similar to pico de gallo yet more sauce. Really good.
Target has some really good ones in their store brand, Archer Farms. I really like Newman's Own. My favorite is the Sprouts brand salsas. (I don't know if you have a Sprouts Farmers Market near you, or not)
My favorite is Newman's Own Pineapple Salsa.
i just broil tomatoe, jalapeño or serrano pepper put it in the blender with clove of garlic cilantro and salt
also broil tomatillo(green tomatoe small) with habanero pepper and the blender with cilantro and clove of garlic yummy
Newman's Own Mango Salsa if I'm not making my own. Why not make your own? It's so easy and fresh!
