B.B.
I love the $ spot at Target and also Dollar Tree. We always got (and still do) fruit and candy to fill it up.
So I need some ideas for stocking stuffers for my husband, daughter and son. My husband is not into tools. My daughter is 3 1/2 and has enough playing cards/games and coloring books. My son is 10 months. I'm going blank on ideas! Please help!

I've used socks and underwear. Maybe something fun or cute for your kids. I always put a toothbrush and maybe those fun kids flossers. I do the same type of stuff for my husband. I usually put something like nail clippers in there or stuff I've found at the Dollar Tree. And I always put in a small chocolate Santa. As far as your youngest - not sure. What about a teether, small plastic book ? Hope this gives you some ideas....
My 4-year old usually gets a fresh sketchbook (a smallish one, like post card size), marker or colored pencil set, and pencil case to keep in the car. She also gets a new charm for her charm bracelet (that she is not allowed to wear yet!) each year. You can almost always find underwear and/or socks with your daughter's favorite character on them. So far this year, I've got several rubber stamps and some small horse figures because she loves both those right now. I also like to put fruit and nuts in my daughter's stocking. The little Clementine oranges are great for stockings. My daughter likes the Life Saver "books" with five or six rolls of candy inside. I can't remember where I got them, but last year she got some little 12-piece puzzles in matchbox-sized boxes. Some were two-sided, so you get two puzzles in one (we keep these in the car).
If your daughter is a princess, we found a little "decorate your own tiara" set at Michael's recently. It comes with glitter glue and sequins so she can decorate it however she likes. We also found some princess paper dolls there; both the tiara and the paper dolls were less than $3 each.
For your son -- when my daughter was a baby, I found a little plastic photo album that is made for kids, and put pictures of all her cousins in it. She loved to look through it at all the people she recognized, and because it was made for kids, she could chew on it and throw it around without everything falling apart.
And -- sorry, I'm single -- no good with ideas for husbands!
Happy holidays!
We fill our kids' stockings with dress ups - sunglasses, jewelry, scarves, ... Or small cooking tools from the Target dollar section. My kids are 3.5 and 5.5, so we're giving them each a fresh pack of markers and journals. Maybe mittens and hats? Take a trip to a local toy store and pick up tops or wind up toys. A slinky. New socks or tights. My daughter (3.5) loves to buy bubble bath, so that would be up her alley. And they all get excited about new tooth brushes. I know... really?
I bought my husband a small pack of variety chocolate. New socks and underwear aren't exciting, but as parents we forget to buy things like this for ourselves, so it is kind of fun to throw out the old and refresh with new... Any cooking utensils he would like? Grilling tools? A new watch? A case for his phone? New wallet? My coffee addict husband is getting espresso mugs.
Good luck.

They have a lot of handmade trinkets and something might strike your eye.
I second the Target $1 section. I got my sons 2 and 5 some little plastic animals and a small pair of binoculars(they really work). They have all sorts of girly things too. I usually include their favorite candy or cookies, also. What about-new toothbrushes, sparkle toothpaste, playdough, Matchbox cars, small books, small stuffed animals, small ball and for your husband-favorite candy or gum, Sonic or Subway giftcard, a CD, a favorite magazine.
My hubby and I don't do stockings for each other but I always have a good stocking for daughter. Since daughter will be 15 on 12/27, for the last few years she loves $$$$$, gift cards, etc.
We both use Clinique skin care products so I might add a couple of items I know she needs, etc. Socks, makeup, and her favorite...Godiva.
When she was younger, bath tub toys, lotions, body wash, dress up items, kiddie plates and utensils, books.
Enjoy!! They grow up WAY too fast!
We do things like toiletries. Maybe a new razor or blades for hubby and some nice after shave? Along with his favorite candies and gum or mints. I think I did a CD once too. And for your 3 yr old, some fun bubble bath or scented lotion and some nail stuff with the promise of mommy time to paint them:) We do cute little candies for the girls too. And, mine love tic tacs, the pink ones are always enjoyed! The baby would enjoy some little people figures..they have them in little packages perfect for stockings. Or, really, any little figure that he could hold on to. And, maybe some baby gold fish, or those gerber baby fruit snacks. Maybe a fun sippy cup or snack container. And, bath toys are always fun, but I never think to buy them, so they are great for stocking stuffers! Good luck and happy shopping:) ~A.~
