Hello Ladies,

Unfortunately, when i was doing my girls laundry last night- i did not check their pockets and they had left a lipstick/lipgloss in one of the pockets, I didn't realize there was something wrong until i took clothes out of the dryer everything has stains. Is there anything i could use to remove the lipstick stains. I tried using shout but it has not workd. I was thinking just put them in the washer again and use something like Oxyclean or something like that because everything has stains. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
M.

I don't know if this will help because lipstick is a greased-based product. But try doing this:

Soak a clean, thin cloth in rubbing alcohol.
Dab the cloth on the lipstick stain. After a minute or so of dabbing, the lipstick should start to fade.

Add stain remover to the spot and wash again in the laundry to completely remove the stain. If this method doesn't work, try the hairspray method.

Spray any brand of strong hold hairspray directly onto the lipstick stain. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

Take a clean, thin cloth soaked in warm to hot water. Dab it on the lipstick stain for at least a minute, continually soaking the cloth back in the water. The stain should disappear. Throw in the washer machine and clean as usual.

oil free eye make-up remover

I am a Mary Kay consultant and my customers claimed they used one of our products to remove stains. Well, I had a blue stain on my couch. I washed it with regular soap and the stain was still there. Then I soaked the spot with the oil-free eye make-up remover and scrubbed. It is gone!
you can go to my site to order: www.marykay.com/esmylozano I'll return your money if it doesn't work.

Biz is my go to stain remover for sure. For tough stains, I have had to repeat this process, but it worked for a load of lipstick stained clothes:) (For the same reason yours got stained!!) I use hot water, a full scoop of biz, and a full scoop of laundry detergent (we use Era, I am not sure if it matters though) and then run the washer until it is full. I turn it off in order to soak the whole load over night. Then, I let it finish washing and check it. If it comes clean, I run it through a short cycle again, just to get out all of the detergent, other wise, I repeat the process. It has been a life saver for many of my clothes. I do this at least once a week with 4 kids, there is almost always a good sized load of clothes that need some extra soaking!! Good luck, I hope it works! ~A.~
