My dishwasher leaves rust like spots on some of my silverware. Any suggestions on how to avoid this and remove the current spots?

T. B,

Club soda will remove the spots and make the silverware look brand new.

Are you using a detergent with lemon? Sometimes the additive in the lemon scent reacts with silver, leaving those marks. Try a detergent without lemon and it might just do the trick.

Use the stainless steel cleaner. This removes all teh spots and then use the dishwasher.

Another alternate is use your toothpaste (Oh yeah!) and brush out the spots.

Hi T.,
I had the same thing happening with my silverware also.
I found a product called Diamond Brite over a year ago and absolutely love it. I would love to share more with you about this - email me with your phone number and a good time to call.
