I would look into an Ergo or Beco. They take the strain off your back and more importantly do not strain your babies hips.
Both come with an infant insert you can purchase.
I was doing some poking around on the Babies R Us website and I noticed that they have this baby carrier on sale. It is the Infantino Support Ergonomic Carrier. When we were expecting our first we went shopping to finish off the items that were left on our registry and seeing as how it was my first baby I had no clue what to expect so I purchased a Wrap and I HATED it with a passion. The stupid thing was $60 and I never ended up spending any more money to get/try a new one. Now that I have a toddler and will soon have a newborn I am rethinking the idea and feel that a carrier would benefit us all. Does anyone have experince with this specific carrier? Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks Mamas

I've waisted money on 5 baby carriers that didn't suit us well (bjorn, moby, sling of some sort, and a pouch from some over priced baby boutique. My recommendation skip the sale, spend your dollars wisely into the tried and true, easy to use, dad friendly, Ergo Baby.
Looks like an ERGO knock off.
I had an ERGO and LOVED it. Yes they are pricey, but I used it pretty much until she turned 4 (not as frequently in the end). Worth every penny in my eyes.
I have the Bjorn, and love it!!! you can get them on sale for about $45 nothing fancy just a regular bjorn. I received a wrap and a sling at my baby shower and didn't either one of them besides the fact the slings are dangerous.
Congrats
I did the same thing with my first, only my expensive unused carrier was a Bjorn. I have a mei tai for the second, and I love it. You can use it from birth on, and it is nice because while you are bending over to help your older one, your little one is still secure. It is also one of the easiest to use because it doesn't have lots of snaps and buttons and clips. You just tie simple knots. Mei tai is a type of carrier. There are many brands that make them, including Infantino. My neighbor downstairs just got an Infantino mei tai on sale at Babies R Us. I haven't talked to her since she got it, so I don't know if she likes it or not.
