My good friend and I want to do a spa outing to celebrate our birthdays. We are looking for someplace that provides a package and more of a spa experience. We have both been to ReVamp in Uptown, and like it, but want to try someplace new. What we like about the ReVamp spa is that you go in, put on a cozy robe and slippers and they shush you around to your various treatments in a nice quiet, special area just for spa customers. You feel very pampered.
We are looking for massage and facials and possible pedicure or manicure... or other treatments that you may have tried and recommend. Our budget is about $150-180 per person (you only turn 35 once!).
We both live near downtown Minneapolis, so something not to far out is best. I have a baby that is still nursing and doesn't take a bottle, so I'll need to only be gone about 4-5 hours at the most.

Spalon Montage in Edina/50th and France area is great. That's a great spa experience with robes, music, the day packages include food, I love it there.
I think spalon montage is too rushed. I work for Juut so I will send them a shout out, but really the wayzata location is amazing. You get into a robe and you get a foot soak with your services (only at wayzata) You also get a complementary make up touch up so you can feel put together before you leave. Unfortunately no matter where you go it will be hard to do multiple services on your budget. But, you could maybe do a 30 min massage, a mini facial and mini manicure or something like that. Our service providers also have prices based on their expertise so you could request studio level-they are the cheapest. the refinery is cheaper and closer. Good luck finding something that will work for you-I think a spa day with the girls is the best birthday present.

I've been to this spa for facials, massage, etc. and it is ONLY a spa - no hair services (like ReVamp) and they have a hot tub in the women's lounge/changing room. And it is HUGE! The hot tub was like a small swimming pool. Very luxurious. Highly recommended!

I've been going there since it was a small operation doing just facials and waxing. In the past several years they've taken over three floors and added all services. I've never been there for a full spa treatment day, but I've been on that floor for massages. It's beautiful and very relaxing.
