hi
I would get a second opinion try a different doctor just to make sure everything is ok now a days doctors dont want to diagnose anything too fast because they get scared of being sued. good luck and i hope everything is ok and nothing is wrong.you could also try a cat scan.

I have no idea what it could be? But an MRI sounds like a good place to start. I hope everything is okay!

Does her head look a bit disproportionate to her body? There is a condition that causes certain bones in the body to continue to grow out of control. I think your DR. would have noticed this though. And it would have started before now. I saw it on discovery health. You might be able to look it up on the Discovery Health web site.
I would be just as concerned as you are. Don't give up. Just because he's an MD doesn't make him always right. That's what malpractice lawyers are for.
Good Luck! --A.
