I am having a good afternoon with Kiddo. We just finished baking off some mini-loaves of soda bread with currants for a coworker of my husband's-- she always gives us eggs from her hens. Kiddo spent so much time playing in the sink after helping me with the dishes, I thought his fingers had turned into little raisins. So I've got a cup of coffee on the boil and a loaf cooling and more playtime with Little Wonder Boy. What's your afternoon fun time or treat today?

Getting home is my afternoon treat. :)
I normally am at work...but today I got to leave work early to go to my son's pre-k school and join him for a Thanksgiving snack with the indians (pre-k kids) and the pilgrims (kindergarteners).
Me and my son baked some oatmeal cranberry cookies:) yummy! Once they were done and cooled we enjoyed a cookie, (I had 2!) and some hot chocolate
My husband just stopped by to see me at my office on his way to work :) and he brought me a peppermint mocha!!
I wish I could say "a large slab of chocolate cake with ice-cream on the side" (man, just writing that made me drool). Instead, the reality is my afternoon treat was a hot, steaming cup of green tea. Yeah, there's just no comparison...
A nice cup of minty tea is great.
