Smelly Sink

I have a double sink and the side WITHOUT the garbage disposal stinks! I tried baking soda and a bleach solution but can't get the smell out. I think something may be trapped below the drain opening. Any ideas on how to get the smell out or how to clean the drain?
Thanks!

pour baking soda in and let sit over night, alot of baking soda, like the whole small box, one box on each side. in the morning follow with lots of vinegar to make the baking soda bubble and froth, buy a gallon of vinegar. follow with very hot water, like boiling water. i would do both sides of the sink. then i would also add the septic powder of microbes to get anything else left in the pipes, and let that sit overnight, the next night or for several nights in a row, then repeat baking soda/vingera. the baking soda and vinegar usually works at our house. you can also try lemon juice, and let that sit in the trap all night. but you might need to get a big bottle of it.
might have the plumbers check the lateral line or septic for you, or just call them for advice. it may something simple to fix or something that they can advise you to have checked out.
good luck,
L.

Sol-U-Mel, is toxin free and will clean and remove the stain. If you don't have any and would like to learn how you can get some just email me. This stuff is amazing. It has gotten red fingernail polish off of a white leather couch and fabric paint off the carpet without damaging it. If you have kids you need this in your home. I don't distribute the products, but I can show you where and how to get it!

baking soda with vinegar will fizz up in the pipes & help to loosen something that is gunked up in there...then add crushed ice with lemons & let it sit for awhile

J.,

It really maybe coming from the garbage disposal side ...My 2 sinks are connected so throw a half cut lemon down the garbage disposal side and run it with hot water for a few seconds and see if the smell on the other side doesn't improve.

Cut up some lemons and squeeze all the juice down the drain and let it sit.
