Small Red Bumps on Upper Arms

Hello fellow mamas!

I was wondering if you could help...

Ever since my 3rd pregnancy I have had these tiny red bumps on my upper arms. Like in between my shoulders and my elbows, on the outside of my arms. (hope that makes sense) I have noticed that when I work out now, they get VERY red and blotchy looking.

Anyone have any idea what they could be and how to get rid of them? I don't have a problem with acne (as far as my face goes, so I don't think its anything like that...they don't itch or anything. They are just there and not pretty to look at. i find myself wanting to wear longer shirts to cover them up, instead of wearing a tank top or something)

Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

Keritosis Pilaris. Aqua Glycolic lotion will work.

Ugh I have the same thing! Never even thought it would be pregnancy-related. Mine also started after giving birth; but it was about five months after. It's only on my upper arms and just small patches. I thought maybe it was the harsh weather. When I work out or get out of the shower it is really red. Glad to see some answers!

I agree with Lila, it is most likely keratosis pilaris. Another treatment option is Jan Marini Resurfacing Body Scrub (20% glycolic acid-keep it on body only) followed by a very rich moisturizer may work well.

I had the same thing. I kept popping them, which I think made them worse. They went away after I had my girls but it took a long time.

You need to get a lotion called Amlactin and use it daily. It's called 'keratosis pilaris' and it's not acne. The lotion should take care of it. Just be sure to wash your hands after you use it since it's got mild acids in it and they can hurt little ones tender skin

Are they dry or itchy? Could be just dry skin or mild eczema. Eucerin cream is good for very dry skin , I use this every day after showering.
