Hi, my 6 month baby girl is being baptized on Sunday Nov 5th coming up. She weighs about 20 lbs. She will be 6 months old on Nov 1st. I cannot afford to buy her a beautiful white baptism gown. I want her to have something special to wear. Please help if you can. I will only need to use the gown for a couple of hours, then I can return it to you. I will drive anywhere in the Mpls/St Paul or metro area and leave you my drivers license if you wish, or something of value to hold until I return the dress.
My little girl does not have a father, I sought a known donor for her birth. I do not get child support and daycare is putting me into debt. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm also looking for a crib at a low cost. Thanks for any info you can provide. M.

Try Unique for your crib. And maybe even a nice gown. Unique is located near the burnsville mall and Kmart(it shares a lot with Buca) Good Luck
I don't have any of these things personally but I know a good place to go is Once upon a child. They have alot of partially used things from clothes to cribs that you can get at a good price. I know I will be there when I have my daughter.
sorry i cant help you with the dress the one i have is only 3 months but as far as the crib my MIL has one she was going to give us but we dont need it now so ill check and see but last i heard she was still trying to get rid of it. ill let u know this weekend for right now she is out of town

I'm sorry I don't have a gown but I do have a crib you can have for free, if you are interested. It's just a basic inexpensive crib I used for my son, who is now 4, which I was going to take to goodwill. The sides do not slide up and down (ar at least I never figured out how to do it) but I never would have used it anyway. I have the mattress as well, and I think I even have the crib bumpers too. I live in West Bloomington. Let me know if you would like it.
P.S. I have a high chair and some other baby items I was going to give away as well that you are welcome to. I am a single mom with no child support and I know what it's like.

I have a gown you could borrow. The gown is very traditional, very long with some lace. It is old (my husband wore it when he was baptised and we had my daughter baptised in it almost 4 months ago) I think it is beautiful.
