I was ours in the washing machine with bleach, or laundry soap. Hang back in shower to dry. Comes out nice, clean and clear!

I put mine in the wash with a bit of bleach and a few towels, then put it alone in the dryer on the lowest setting for about 2 minutes. This will dry it as well as remove the wrinkles and make it hang better. I have started using the new shower sprayers that hangs in your shower and you push a button to activate when you are done and since I have started using it, I have NEVER had to wash the curtain, no mildew even on the bottom. The shower cleaner is inexpensive and the refills are about $4.00 and last a full month if you use the sprayer once a day. It works well for enclosed showers and tub showers.

You can also throw in some vinegar to help cut the water spots.

Try the gentle cycle of the washing machine.

This is going to seem too easy! My mother-n-law taught me to throw it in the washing machine on cold with a little detergent. Wash normal, then dry on low for about 5 or 10 minutes. Works perfertly!

I use a Magic Eraser sponge. It is such a chore though! I have to hold my hand flat on one side while scrubbing that little area with the sponge. For Christmas I got a Scrubbing Bubbles Shower Spray Cleaner. I cleaned the curtain and bath/shower really well, then I have used the automatic cleaner for a month now. I haven't had to clean the shower curtain by hand yet--the auto cleaner has done a good job!

I wash mine in my washer with a towel and clorox. Comes out clean and germ free!
