They haven't made lead paint in forever or longer so no though it probably isn't the healthiest thing to chew on a crib.
Maybe stop leaving him in there so long that he gets bored and starts chewing.
I bought a 4 n 1 crib not too long that had been repainted. My son is 7 months old and has started chewing on his crib. Should i be worried about lead poisoning?

No, not unless the crib is very old (which is doubtful, since 4-in-1 cribs are a realtively new thing), and the paint is also very old.
Lead has been banned from household paints in the United States since 1978.

Welcome to mamapedia!!
Did YOU repaint the crib? If so - did you use lead paint??
There are plastic guards you can purchase to put on the rails...

Also - keep in ming that lead paint was banned in the US in 1978...while I understand that there MIGHT be lead paint still sold or stored? Is the crib that old?
Is there lead paint on it? Doubt it.
You can buy testing kits if you're worried.
Probably don't have to worry about lead. But still, you might buy one of those plastic things you can put over crib rails for babies that like to chew.
Search on amazon for gummy crib rail cover to see an example.
probably not. but why take a chance? i mean, can't you strip and repaint it with safe paint, or put a bumper pad on it or something?

Only if you used lead based paint.
No lead paint has been used on children's cribs in decades. This must be a new model since it's a 4 in 1.
I'm not sure what position he is getting into that allows him to chew on the crib. Is he pulling himself up? I know my kid did this at that age. Or is he somehow chewing the vertical rails?
I know most people are no longer using crib bumpers because of their hazards, but many use crib rail bumpers. You can go to the customer help desk of the crib manufacturer to ask what they recommend. Pediatricians are also up to date on much of this info and yours will probably have a recommendation for you. You can always call the office and talk to someone without going in for an appointment.
when we bought our house we were told anything prior to 1970-something. I'm sure you're fine. If you're really that worried, repaint it or get some kind of cover.
