Shellac Manicure

When I was in my nail salon about 2 weeks ago for a pedi, the owner was showing us a new line of OPI 'gel' polish that was guaranteed to last at least 14 days. She showed us the little jar and it has this gel like substance in it. She only had about 10 colors with hopes of getting more. But it doesn't dry immediately, after a coat you 'bake it' or something like that. I am growing my fingernails out so I can try it for a wedding later this summer. I am sure the stuff I am referring to is safe, but I have no ideal about what you are asking about. :( Sorry.

I haven't seen it anywhere yet, but I read an article about it last summer. I forgot all about it until reading your post. It definetly sounds intriguing. I would love to know which salons offer it. Anyone know of any place in Fort Worth?

Got a pedi at Coldwater Creek and the nail tech just raved about it! She had her fingernails done, it was day 12...and they looked perfect. She poured acetone over them and nothing...still looked perfect. I haven't had it done, but I was intrigued!
