Worked about as well as All. I still had to use a bleach pen or stain stick on difficult stains, but it worked fine.
Has anyone used seventh generation laundry soap and Do you like it or don't like it. I was using the SA8 from Amway but I would like to try something that I can just pick up at the store.
Thanks in advance

I have used Seventh Generation and I like it okay, but (apparently I'm on a Shaklee kick today because this is my 2nd response in favor-you'd think I get paid to advertise for them or something, which I don't.) the Shaklee detergent is by far my favorite. It is a powder, which I've never liked before, but it is wonderful at getting stains out and does a great job. It's been around FOREVER, is purely natural, and you don't have to be a "member" or anything to buy it. It's also very concentrated so it lasts a long time and is cost effective. The only thing I don't like is paying shipping, but it still ended up to be cheaper than Seventh Generation in the long run and I like that it's been around so long.
I have used it and was happy with it. It cleaned clothes well. My husband has super sensitive skin and he preferred to stick with a detergent that he had a good track record with, so that he did not have to worry about having reactions. I think he may have reacted to it, or maybe he just wanted to stick with something safe, I forget. We use mostly 7th Gen around our house and like the product line .
I have and did not like it, I found a product I love but no it can't be picked up from the store but it is awesome! My 17 year old TRIES to get his clothes dirtier and dirtier to see if they will still come clean and smell good, they do and I pay less than Seventh generation and it last forever I use only about 1 tablespoon of soap. It even gets out banana, blood, spit up and all, I also have a 9 year old and 2 year old grandbaby!

I just got some and used it for the first time and it seems to work as well as other laundry soaps . My husband will let me know he has very sensitive skin so if he breaks out we will stop . But it says it is all natural so we will see . You also have to know how clean your clothes are is not just the soap it is your washer how well it washes .
I've used it when in a pinch and it is fine, but I still prefer SA8. I actually buy the huge 50 lb. commercial box and it lasts our family of 6 for almost 3 yrs. It is so nice to never have to worry about buying laundry detergent I've been using the SA8 for about 8 yrs now! I think the cost is about $180 and it has free shipping. I think that it is the most cost effective and easy way to go. I just pick up seventh generation fabric softener and fragrance free dryer sheets at the store. Hope this helps!
Don't like it, at all. But I love Trader Joe's Brand if you have one near you.

I use both the Seventh Generation laundry detergent and dish soap. I like both of them very well. We have well water, and since I've started using Seventh Generation, my towels no longer smell! And my whites are whiter. And no one has itchy skin anymore. For now, this one is the right one for our family. I like the convenience of being able to run and get it when I need it, whether that's at Whole Foods, Woodmans, or Target. Great stuff!
It works fine. I think BioKleen or Ecover do a better job, though, and last time I compared, their prices were a bit lower per wash.
Hi J.! I have used Seventh Generation, Ecover, Planet, BioKleen and Melaleuca. I like all the products I listed but Melaleuca is a huge pain in the behind and EXPENSIVE especially when you add 18% to the cost for shipping, handling and "gas tax". Melaleuca is nothing special. It's waaayyyyy over hyped and less natural than the other products.
My favorites are BioKleen and Seventh Generation.
I used the lavender scent and itched all the time. Switched back to All Free and no more problems. Not sure if one of the other 7th gens would be better.
I just bought some and its works great. I use the kind w/ lavendar and eucalyptus oil in it- it adds a nice soft scent w/ natural fragrance instead of fake stuff.
I endorse it!
